I've installed windows 8 on my dell. It's great but there is only one problem: windows automatically installs driver for wireless but it doesn't work properly.
I updated bios and windows update to the lastest but it still occurs: every half or an hour my dell freezes, i had to hold the power button to turn it off.
In dell driver page, there is only driver for 1702; 1701 for windows 7 doesn't work too.
Does anyone have this driver? Thank so much!
Here is the link for the driver. This driver is compatible with both Windows 7 and Windows 8. http://dell.to/SQe1NB
Hope this helps. Please reply if you have questions.

I'm expecting to see it :D
I really appreciate your patience. Please try to download Windows 8 compatible driver from the link below and check if it is working. This is also the driver for 1702, however it is the latest version and should work with your system as well.
Please reply for any further issues.
Thank for reply.
I think I tried this thing before. Run it as administrator, preparing setup dialog appears, the progress bar runs till end, and nothing happens then.
It's unbelievable, so many people use dell ins but no one faces this issue?
I have the exactly the same issue on i5 inspiron 15R N5110.
I've been keeping an eye on the drivers page for almost 2 months now for the 1701 driver to be released.
I have also tried installing the 1702 windows 8 driver but i am having the same issues as mrdrg10
Thank MagicMike, I hope this will be fixed soon.
