Just bought a T1650 that had a disk with Acrobat X Standard in it. It is not installed and when I try to install it, it wants a serial number. This came in a white sleeve (no box) so I don't know where to find the serial number.
Any help would be appreciated
It seems you have purchased the upgrade serial key for Acrobat X. So, while installing Acrobat X, you need to have the serial keys for both, one for Acrobat X and the other for your previous version of Acrobat. In case you do not have the serial key for previous version of acrobat, you need to contact Adobe Support by using the below link:
If you do not have any old serial key nor a proof of it, you need to get a full version serial key for Acrobat X(only from retailers, if available) or get Acrobat XI.

Thanks for your response but that does not seem to be the case. I simply bought the new computer and in the box was a white sleeved disk that has Adobe Acrobat X Standard on it. It is not currently installed on the machine but I would like to install it if this is possible. It is a brand new machine and I did not have an old serial number or version of the software. Why would Dell include the disk and no serial number to go with it?
