Openmanage says one drive will fail.
PERC 5/i. Two disks in a RAID-1 configuration. Is this bad drive hot swappable? Or what else do I need to do? Thanks for a quick answer! I have already overnighted the replacement drive.
The drives are hotswappable. With the Predicted Failure you have shown, you can't just remove the drive and insert the replacement. A Predicted Failure is a drive in which the bad blocks have exceeded a threshold.
In order to not transfer the bad blocks tot he new drive, you will need to force the drive OFFLINE before replacing it.
Let me know how it goes.

Chris, thanks so much. So I do this via OpenManage I see. Any other suggestions? What is after Offline... (I am not going to do this just yet.)
Lastly, what is your advise: this machine is in production with a SQL database running. It is my understanding with RAID-1 there isn't so much resources dedicated to rebulding the drive. It is ok to do this during production time, or better after?
After forcing the drive offline, then remove the drive, wait 30 seconds, then put in the replacement. It should start rebuilding automatically. If it doesn't, then you can assign the drive as a hot-spare and the rebuild will begin shortly.
The effect of doing this in production depends on how heavily it is used. Normally, unless the server is nearly overtaxed already, users will not notice any difference. If in doubt, do it before you leave for the day.
