  • I am a student at the University of Sustainable Development Germany and i
am using  a windows 7 DVD for the fresh installations. I have deleted
    and recreated the partitions.
When i start installation it gives me a blue screen at stage 2 when the
    installation is expanding the files.

  • Hi mikeoe2003,

I understand that this situation is very frustrating and do appreciate your patience and co-operation.  I assure you that I am here to help you.

To install windows 7 on this machine, the BIOS settings should be as follows:

    • SATA operation in BIOS should be AHCI.
    • Secure boot should be disabled.
    • Boot list option should be set to ‘legacy’.

Once you have made these changes in BIOS, I would request you to try installing windows 7 from the installation DVD that you have.

Please share if you are able to install windows on your system.

    Awaiting your response.

    Thanks & Regards
