II bought my laptop 2 months ago and one day when I turn a message appears that says "Your battery is temporarily disabled. Please turn off your computer and try again When the unit is back to the operational temperature".And just let me choose 2 options to continue or enter the bios.I update the bios to the latest version and change my battery, nothing has solved my problem. when I unplug the AC adapter, the computer shuts down. Is a Dell inspiron 5720 with windows 8 64bits. Help me please.

Service tag was requested for checking the type warranty and assist you further. We will have to check the status of the adapter in BIOS; if the adapter is not detected properly the system will continue to receive power but will not charge the battery. Please follow the steps mentioned below to check if the adapter is detected properly.
1. Start the computer by pressing the power button2. Press the F2 key 2-3 times3. You will now be on the BIOS screen4. Under the Main Tab look for the option that says AC Adapter Type5. If the Adapter Type says Unknown or None with the adapter plugged in.6. Also, Select Advanced tab and check for ‘Battery Health’.
My AC adapter type is 90W. The battery health: this battery is temporarily disabeled, please turn off the computer, reset the AC adapter and try again when the unit is back to operational temperature.

This is an ongoing problem with Dell laptops. There are numerous complaints about this all over the web. Many users describe it as battery not charging, but upon further reading it is actually the same problem. Unfortunately DELL refuses to actually address the problem. They have you replace the battery or the adapter or the motherboard , update the BIOS - almost anything and everything except admit the have a problem. I and many others have done ALL of the above and still have the problem. I wish I could tell you how to fix it - but if I could then I could fix my own DELL XPS 15Z and help others with the same problem. If you continue to check the battery health you will probably find that every few days it will decrease by 1%. One last note - consider yourself lucky - many of us with this problem first experienced it very shortly after the warranty expired!
Same problem here too 17 R - 5720, just after 2 month of warrenty over i got this message and really in trouble.
