I have a optiplex 960 sff. I recently got a new 750 gb HDD, added 4 gbs of ram, and installed windows 7 64bit. And the machine has been running WAY better than it was. But I have noticed that when i put it to sleep every day or two it will have a solid amber light and solid amber 1 and 2 lights. And I have to unplug the computer in order to reboot it because no video and no response buttons. I googled the lights it states motherboard issue. The only new devices connected to it are the ram, HDD, and 2 wireless nodes for the keyboard and mouse. Installed just the basic drivers after windows could this be a issue. Any Ideas on what this could be?
If you haven't already, I suggest installing the latest chipset drivers from Intel.
