I keep getting a warning Pop-up about a failed USB device not being recognized.
I have run diagnostics on all my devices and none seem to be having trouble.
I have tried unplugging the CPU and a few other things. This is really irratating. Can anyone help?

Meanwhile, unplug all external peripherals (printer, pen drive or flash drive). Restart the system and update the BIOS and the chipset driver using the link mentioned below:
Enter the Service Tag of the computer and choose the Operating System installed on the computer. Please update the latest version of BIOS and chipset driver available.
NOTE: Ensure that the battery is more than 30% charged(for laptops) and computer should not turn off during BIOS update process.

Did you connect any external peripheral and the issue started again?
Also, try the steps mentioned belpw
1. Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.2. Click the Hardware tab.3. Click the Device Manager button.4. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.5. Right-click every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers node. Click uninstall to remove them one at a time.6. Restart the computer.
About 1 week, no new hard ware or software installed before problem began.
I will try as you suggest.
I downloaded the Bios and chipset files as you suggested.
I had no problem for about 15 minutes but it has begun again.
I believe we are now sucessful.
Warning hasn't popped-up for over an hour.
