X51 R2 and Tactx Keyboard and Mouse Install CD software crashing command center

This question is answered

Having problems with the software that came with the Keyboard and mouse. Every time I install the software that came with it the command center will not work. Has anyone else had a problem with this? If I don't install the Software everything works but I do not get the control interfaces for the keyboard and mouse, so I can't set up the keys and buttons.

  • I had to pull out the CI files separately to make them work. The packaged software has an older command center and would over write the newer one for some reason causing it not to work. So I just pulled out the files that I needed for the control interfaces and it works. They need to update the software on the drivers, even the newer Tactx drivers have the older command center with them.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Vaughn,

Try installing the drivers/software using the following link:

    http://ftp.dell.com/FOLDER00727790M/2/IO_Logitech_XP_Vista_Win7_Win8_A00_Setup-YV7PN_ZPE.exe

You may also install the drivers/software from the following link:

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks & Regards
