  • Try the official GeForce WHQL drivers direct from Nvidia here: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

  • I have exactly the same issue. Dell technician has tried the Dell Drivers, NVIDIA drivers and the GeForce ones.  Nothing - same result.

Dell have also replaced the Motherboard (twice) and the GFX card.  Currently my brand new unit is in their Workshop.  Concerning that someone else has EXACTLY the same issue ...

    Specs:
    M17x R4

    3D LCD panel

    16GB RAM

    NVIDIA 680M GTX

    750GB + 32GB mSATA storage solution

    i7 3720 CPU.

So - hmmm.. best of luck on a fix.  If they cannot fix in their workshop I will be demanding a new unit.

  • I had a similar problem,it was when I let windows updates update the driver all I did was rollback the driver in device manager and now I only get driver updates when nvidia control panel says their is an update from the nvidia program itself, now I have no problems
